After conversations with Aris Salonika, Yoshinori Muto could be on the verge of quitting Newcastle United for permanently.
On Friday night at Doncaster, Steve Bruce claimed that the Magpies were trying to “find a solution” for the striker who has struggled on Tyneside.
Since joining Newcastle from Mainz 05 in 2018, Muto has only scored twice. After costing Newcastle £11.5 million, he has only made seven starts.
The club’s salary budget has been depleted as a result of Bruce’s £54,000-per-week salary, so he will at least be able to put some money back into his transfer kitty.
