Manchester United appear to be content to spend large this summer in order to re-establish themselves as serious title contenders. The £73 million signing of Jadon Sancho is poised to be finalised, and the focus has shifted to defensive reinforcements, with Raphael Varane and Kieran Trippier being mentioned.
The club must make a huge decision about Paul Pogba, who is in the final year of his contract and has showed little interest in renewing it.
As a result, United will have to sell the French midfielder in the next weeks in order to recoup any of the £89 million they paid for him in 2016.
PSG has expressed a considerable interest in Pogba, and his representative, Mino Raiola, is said to be in talks with them about personal terms.
