When Gareth Southgate’s side takes on Roberto Mancini’s side at Wembley, they have the chance to end the Three Lions’ wait for their first major tournament victory since the 1966 World Cup on home soil.
After being put through their paces in an open training session ahead of Sunday’s highly anticipated confrontation against the Italians, England’s players appeared to be in a comfortable mood.
The Three Lions couldn’t stop grinning throughout their training session on Thursday, and a few stars, like Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, and even Southgate, managed a smile before getting down to business.
The rest of the day will be spent by Southgate finalizing his roster and tactics for the final versus Mancini’s club.
