Gareth Southgate’s team overcame Denmark 2-1 in front of almost 50,000 euphoric England fans at Wembley on a night of nerve-wracking suspense and then unbridled joy.
Captain Harry Kane scored the game-winning goal in extra time to ensure a meeting with the Azzurri at Wembley (20:00 BST kick-off).
