When Sergio Ramos departs Real Madrid at the end of the month, Manchester United have no plans to sign him this summer.
The 35-year-old defender’s exit from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu was officially confirmed on Wednesday evening, with the Spain international departing after winning 22 trophies in 16 years.
United, Manchester City, and PSG have all been linked with a free move for the centre-back, who has made 671 appearances for Real Madrid.
‘There was an offer from United,’ he claimed in an interview with COPE. For a while, I considered switching, but Real Madrid was always my first choice, and there were no financial considerations.
