Nuno Espirito Santo is allegedly close to being named Crystal Palace’s new manager, three weeks after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Palace have carried out a comprehensive search for Roy Hodgson’s replacement, with the veteran manager set to leave his childhood club at the end of the 2020-21 season.
The Eagles have held negotiations with Frank Lampard about the position, as well as considering Sean Dyche, Steve Cooper, and Valerien Ismael.
Nuno took over in the summer of 2017, when the club was wallowing in 15th place in the Championship.
