After Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Leeds United, Jurgen Klopp slammed Gary Neville in an unprecedented war of words. The Merseyside club is one of six Premier League clubs to consent to join the European Super League.
Klopp was asked about the breakaway competition after Liverpool conceded a late goal in a 2-2 draw with Leeds.
The German manager, who opposes the proposals, defended his players and chastised Neville for remarks he made about Liverpool’s anthem, “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
‘Gary Neville talks about You’ll Never Walk Alone,’ he told Sky. To be frank, that should already be prohibited.
