“We Fight Until The End”, Ancelotti Says As Batshuayi Denies Everton Win

Despite conceding a late equalizer to Crystal Palace, Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti insisted his side is still fighting for European qualification.
In the 86th minute, Palace substitute Michy Batshuayi equalized, putting the ball beyond Robin Olsen and into the bottom corner.
Everton’s James Rodriguez, who had returned from injury, had given the Toffees a deserved lead in the 56th minute with a superb right-footed drive. Ancelotti told BBC Sport, “The goal is the same.” “We were down two points. We’ll have to make up for those two points in other games.”
Everton are now in eighth position, five points behind fourth-placed West Ham despite having played one less game. With eight games left, Palace’s safety is all but assured, with the draw putting them 12 points clear of the bottom three.
