In a “serious situation” between Kepa Arrizabalaga and Antonio Rudiger on Sunday, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel says “things got heated.”
The day after Chelsea’s shocking 5-2 defeat by West Brom, goalkeeper Kepa and defender Rudiger were involved in an incident in training.
Tuchel said on Tuesday, “We needed to intervene in the case, so that was serious.” “They cleared the air right away, and the next day there was nothing left.”
Tuchel believed the quarrel resulted from an incident in training rather than the defeat to West Brom. After the two players were seen pushing each other, Rudiger was reportedly sent in early.
