Harry Kane has had a wonderful summer. If he does not leave now, he will never leave Tottenham. If he leaves, he’ll become the club’s all-time leading scorer and be honoured with a statue outside the stadium, but at the price of winning the trophies that his talent deserves.
I’m sure he thinks about it every day because time isn’t on his side. He is actually one of the world’s top three strikers and can support any squad.
However, he will turn 28 this summer, and younger models like Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe are becoming more and more appealing to top clubs every year.
Kane clearly cares about Tottenham Hotspur, and he wanted to give Jose Mourinho every chance possible this season. They are, however, a long way from challenging for the Premier League title or the Champions League, so now is the time to make a pick.
