More Injury Crisis For Klopp’s Liverpool As Captain Henderson Joins

It is confirmed that Jordan Henderson is expected to miss up to 12 weeks of action with the captain of Liverpool to learn today if he wants surgery on his groin. At the weekend, Henderson limped out of the Reds’ deflating 2-0 Merseyside derby loss to add to the forever-growing injury list of Jurgen Klopp.
Should Henderson need surgery for his groin, according to The Sun, it would end his Liverpool season and place his chances of appearing in major doubt at this summer’s Euros.
Liverpool found it difficult to substitute Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip as main defenders. Henderson and Fabinho, who had been a deputy at the heart of the defense, have now succumbed.
