Barcelona Slammed By Spanish Papers: Goodbye To The League As Well!

The chances of winning Barcelona’s title are gone – at least according to the Spanish newspapers. Just days after the 4-1 Champions League thrashing by Paris Saint-Germain, after conceding an 89th-minute equaliser, Barca was taken to a draw at home by lowly Cadiz.
This meant that despite Lionel Messi’s penalty, they were unable to capitalize on Atletico Madrid’s leaders suddenly losing Saturday at home in Levante.
Consequently, Ronald Koeman’s side is third in the table, about eight points behind Atletico, with Real Madrid now the only possible challengers in second position.
‘Adieu league, too? ‘Marca asked on the front page on Monday, which featured a desperate Messi after Alex Fernandez converted a last-minute penalty to snatch a Cadiz point from their only goal shot in the game.
