In the FA Cup fourth round, a Tammy Abraham hat-trick secured Chelsea victory over Luton Town to ease some pressure on manager Frank Lampard. Prior to nodding in a second from Reece James’ chip, Abraham slotted in from Timo Werner’s cut-back.
After an error made by keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, Jordan Clark scored for the visitors on 30 minutes to keep them in the game. But Abraham, before Timo Werner missed a goal, poked home to seal victory.
In the fifth round, Chelsea will be faced by Championship side Barnsley.
