Liverpool Boss Is Named Coach Of The Year At BBC Spoty Awards
With Jurgen Klopp receiving the Coach of the Year award and the Premier League champions being named Team of the Year, Liverpool completed a double at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year ceremony on Sunday night.
Since breaking their 30-year wait for a league title in the summer, it has been a memorable 12 months for the Reds – and their manager even had time to aim a cheeky dig at their rivals Manchester United while winning the awards alongside his captain, Jordan Henderson.
After a staggering campaign that saw them earn 99 points, losing only three matches, Klopp’s side secured their first-ever Premier League title with a record-breaking seven games to spare.
