Aston Villa Captain Jack Grealish Admits Two Charges Of Careless Driving…

Captain Jack Grealish of Aston Villa ‘smelled of alcohol’ as he turned into parked cars at ‘pace’ before climbing out of his £ 80,000 Range Rover and slurring his words during the Covid lockdown after a party, a court heard today.
The 25-year-old international from England left the party and took his high-powered 4×4 behind the wheel before reversing into a silver Citroen van and a £ 30,000 silver C-class Mercedes, climbing a kerb and smashing into a wall.
The Barnt Green, Worcestershire, midfielder, was involved in the incident less than 24 hours after issuing a video message on Twitter encouraging people to stay home to fight Covid.
He was identified as ‘smelling of liquor’ by a security guard who questioned him following the accident, having slurred speech and being unsteady on his feet. He also pleaded guilty to a separate charge of reckless driving after being observed driving down the M42 at ‘near an intimidating distance’ at more than 90mph.
