Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is optimistic that Zinedine Zidane will prolong his stay at the club after a century of goals after their 3-2 victory over Inter Milan. To put them 2-0 up in the first half, Ramos scored his 100th goal for the club with a trademark header from a Toni Kroos corner.
The 34-year-old, who joined Real Madrid in 2005, is reportedly in the final year of his current deal, set to expire in the summer.
Boss Zinedine Zidane is adamant that he will put pen to paper on an extension, amid questions some may have about his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.
After the victory in Madrid, he said: “As always, he is our captain, our leader.”
