#EndSARS: Moe Odele's (@Mochivous) Passport Seized At The Airport. Oby Ezekwesili Reacts

The International Passport of one of the champions of #EndSARS protest, Modupe Odele, was reportedly seized at the airport last night and this has sparked reactions on social media. Tweeting about Moe Odele’s passport seizure, Tosin @Donteewrites wrote:

Seizing @Mochievous International Passport tonight at the Airport is another sign of the Dictatorship that were witnessing under the Buhari Presidency…. This will be resisted

I have written the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno of @NigeriaGov @MBuhari @NGRPresident to immediately retrieve the passport of @Mochievous Modupe Odele from the State Security Service and deliver it to her with apologies. Nigeria can never be a Police State.#EndSARS

Moe Odele tweeted this morning about the incident but didn’t give much details of what happened. Moe wrote:

Hello everyone. Thank you so much. I’m fine and I’m safe. We haven’t confirmed yet why I was stopped on Sunday or by whom. But I’ve been invited back in with my lawyers today. I’ll update when I have more information but please don’t spread false news. That is dangerous 🙏🏽
