Argentine football icon Diego Maradona was anemic and dehydrated, but his personal doctor said on Tuesday that he is now doing well in the hospital.
After being admitted to the Ipensa clinic in La Plata, Argentina on Monday, Maradona, 60, is still undergoing tests, according to his doctor, Leopoldo Luque, who said his condition is not linked to COVID-19.
‘It’s progressing as we expected it to. I hope he’ll want to stay until tomorrow,’ reporters told Luque. He’s going to have to do long-term counseling.’
