Jose Mourinho thinks the referee Graham Scot should clarify his controversial decision to grant Brighton the goal because Gareth Bale scored a 2-1 win in a Sunday victory for Tottenham.
The Bale’s header was his first goal of his second round at Spurs and its first in over seven years for the club in a match marked by unfair arbitration and VAR conflict.
VAR operator Jonathan Moss told Scott of a potential error in Lamptey ‘s goal and invited the referee to come to the monitor pitch side to see what was happening in March.
Despite the incident in which March dropped Hojbjerg, Scott determined that the goal of Lamptey should stay in frustration for Tottenham’s players after seeing the incident for 70 seconds. When asked about the post-game decision, Mourinho claimed that he didn’t care, but he was surprised when he indicated that Scott would participate at a press conference to clarify the call.
