Premier League Could Abandon Pay-Per-View Matches With Clubs Meeting Tomorrow To Discuss It

On Tuesday, Premier League clubs will discuss whether or not to adhere to their divisive pay-per – view deals for the round of games prior to the international break in November.

Matches played after internationals this month, which were not chosen for daily television broadcasting, were made available at £14.95 each on a pay-per – view basis through the box office services of Sky Sports or BT Sport.

The league and the broadcaster were advised by fan organisations, including the Football Supporters’ Union, to rethink the costs.
