N’golo Kante has lost form in the recent times and there was already speculations regarding him as seasons re-open. Throwing his weight behind him is his former teammate Mark Schwarzer who believes the Germany International can bounce back to his usual in-form that the fans have known right from Leicester City. The 29-year-old was restricted to 28 appearances for the Blues last season with minor injuries keeping him sidelined after playing 53 matches the campaign before.
The Chelsea mildfielder was criticised in some quarters for his performances over the past year, with intercurrently exploring the possibility of a transfer and the Blues reportedly open to cashing in on the Frenchman. It has been a busy summer for Chelsea with the club securing deals for Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell among others. Werner has hit the ground running with a goal in pre-season and Schwarzer believes he won’t struggle adapting to life at Stamford Bridge as the Blues prepare to kick-off their own league on Monday.
