I Don’t Want Messi Anywhere Near The Premier League – Liverpool’s Robertson

As speculation over Barcelona’s captain’s, future rumbles on, Liverpool’s full back, Andy Robertson has shared his view saying he doesn’t want the Argentine anywhere near the EPL. Aside as a piece advice to the world best, every football fan understands what Robertson mean as one would not encounter Messi and remain the same, and it’s better to do that at the European level than league. According to Robertson, “He’s one of, if not the best player to ever play the game so for him to go to one of your nearest rivals is probably never a good sign. He’s a fantastic player, I’ve no doubt if he came to the Premier League he’d bring the exact same quality, the same passion and everything he brings at Barca. “I think Liverpool have ruled out that we are going to sign him, so for me, I don’t want him anywhere near the Premier League and hopefully it stays that way, but we’ll wait and see what happens with that.

Where the Argentine International will be playing the round leather next is yet uncertain as he has not yet reported to training since taking the surprise decision. Although, Messi’s father, Jorge arrived Barcelona on Wednesday to have a talk with the club’s management, it was quoted saying “it is difficult for Lionel to remain at Nou Camp” when interviewed. Why don’t want Messi out of Barca, others do. Share your view using the comment section.
