Real Madrid and Wales forward Bale has been left out of Real’s 24-man squad for Friday’s match against Manchester City. According to the manager who disclosed this to BBC Sport, the 31-year old forward who started 14 games in all competitions in 2019-20 and has played just twice since football in Spain restarted in June says he prefer not to travel as he won’t be playing when his side faced the Sky Blues on Friday.
Guardiola’s men won 2-1 in the first leg in Spain in February before the coronavirus pandemic caused the competition to be halted for almost five months and anyone who wins tomorrow’s clash will scale through. Man City is at a better chance to proceed but the Spanish giant; Madrid doesn’t look like they are going to take things easy. Tomorrow holds the decision. Feel free to comment on using the box below.
