If history is anything to go by, Chelsea have a bit of a task on their hands today. They’ve won just one of their last 13 FA Cup games against Arsenal, losing on eight occasions. But they collected four points against the Gunners in the Premier League this season, including a 2-1 win at the Emirates in December, and finished 10 points above them in the table.
Arteta sticks with 10 of the 11 players who beat Watford 3-2 on the final day of the Premier League season as Hector Bellerin comes in at right-back with Joe Willock dropping to the bench. It will be interesting to see where Arsenal deploy Ainsley Maitland-Niles this afternoon after he did such a fine job of marking Raheem Sterling in the semi-final win over Manchester City.
Chelsea make one change from the side that beat Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-finals as Christian Pulisic is fit to take his place in the three-man attack while N’Golo Kante is named among the list of substitutes. There is no Willian in the matchday squad, while Kepa Arrizabalaga is also on the bench with Willy Caballero retaining his place in goal.
