Chelsea manager Frank Lampard says he ‘wants more’ despite his side’s victory against Norwich City at Stanford Bridge last night. Lampard who waited patiently at the mercy of the visitors’ defence was not satisfied with the result the Blues put-up even after much combined attempted efforts of William, Pulisic and Giroud finally paid-off at 45th minutes after Striker Olivier Giroud guided a header past Tim Krul on the stroke of half-time when Christian Pulisic created space for the cross on the right and in late first half.

Chelsea sit four points above Leicester City and Manchester United with two games remaining

The victory has strengthened Chelsea’s hold on third place in the Premier League, where they sit four points above Leicester and Manchester United, who both play on Thursday, and the Chelsea manager was quoted saying: “At this stage of the season results are critical and we didn’t concede any chances of note to let them score,” in praises to his boys. The visitors, Norwich who were relegated following a 4-0 thrashing by West Ham on Saturday, failed to record a shot on target when they slugged it out with the Blues on Tuesday night.
