The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have congratulated former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike on his 33rd birthday on Sunday.
Both football governing bodies sent their birthday wishes through their verified Twitter handles.
CAF wrote on their handle with a short video clip of Emenike’s goals at the 2013 AFCON:
“Today Nigeria’s Emmanuel Emenike @E29EMENIKE celebrates his 33rd birthday! “The striker had a great 2013, winning the #TotalAFCON with @NGSuperEagles and was named top scorer too.”
While NFF wrote:
”Happy birthday to #AFCON2013 top scorer, @E29EMENIKE.”
