Time is the most valuable resource on earth, it waits for no one and answers to nobody. As young humans, at first time may seem plentiful and available for us to waste, but as the days progresses and we steadily age, we realise that what we assume to have abundantly is not really on our side and whatever we do not do when we have to and while we have the strength, we may struggle with it over the future or it may completely pass us by.
An adolescent or a teenager who is just experimenting and trying out different things in life may decide to be adventurous and waste a few years jumping from one place to the other or standing at a spot. However as a full responsible and productive adult you are actually responsible for your choices, how you choose to spend your time, what you do with it and how it affects your personal life and future.
If you are one to be conscious of time, be very picky and cautious of who you choose to give your heart and invest your time in, because wasted time is worse than wasted money. Be careful who you decide to give your youth, not every one begging you for a chance means you well, some just want a chance to waste your life for you.
Realise that the term “spend” is used for time and unlike money once you spend a minute, it’s gone forever. Be it marriage or relationship, be you male or female, be cautious of who you give your days of youth, that is the only chance you have at being a youth, you will never be a youth again. If you are there, you are getting signs that it will not end well for you, take your leave and invest your time elsewhere.
This phase of your life is the only time you have to be a beautiful young lady or a handsome young man, after this phase, the narrative changes. Do not hand the most interesting phase of your life to a time killer and an idiot. Use your intuition and listen to your instincts, read the signs and watch the flags, if you are only getting negative feedbacks you should know what to do. Invest your time wisely!
