With the release of Reels, a TikTok clone, Instagram’s music support eventually grew. On a limited regional scale, the company is currently testing this feature in-feed posts.
The feature is currently being used by some people in India and other unnamed countries.
From the update, a new music selection menu will appear when you’re preparing a post to share.
Also, you’ll be able to select the few seconds of a song you’d like to include. It’s similar to how Instagram Stories and Reels work.
You can view Reels that have a specific song associated with them on Instagram.
This way, you can see all of the different ways people have used the same song.
A “Use Audio” button has been added to the grid, so you can easily create your own post with it.
