Antoine Griezmann For Paulo Dybala In The Latest Barcelona Line Up Sensational Swap Deal

According to rumours, Barcelona is pondering a stunning trade with Antoine Griezmann and Juventus’ Paulo Dybala in order to reduce their wage expenditure. According to L’Equipe, the LaLiga giants are in the midst of a financial crisis and are struggling to clear a number of players off the books in order to register new signings and re-sign Lionel Messi to a new contract. They are eager to offload Griezmann, who earns £300,000 per week at the Nou Camp.

The Frenchman, who represented Les Bleus at Euro 2020 this summer, is back in training with Barca, but his bosses would ‘welcome’ his departure to help push through Messi’s new contract, according to the report, and they have already reached out to Juventus.

Barcelona have requested a player to replace Griezmann, and the player in question might be Argentina’s Paulo Dybala, who has been linked with a move away from Turin in recent months.

The 27-year-old, who has just a year left on his contract, had a mixed season in Serie A last season as the team lost their grip on the Scudetto, scoring five times and assisting three times. Griezmann has also been linked with a return to previous club Atletico Madrid, with midfielder Saul Niguez being touted as a possible replacement.
