Crystal Palace Set To Battle It Out With Brighton And Brentford For Reiss Nelson’s Signature

Arsenal may be forced to sell Reiss Nelson after talks to extend his contract fell through. Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Brentford are all said to be interested in the winger. The 21-year-old is regarded as one of Arsenal’s best graduates in recent years, but he has struggled to get into the first-team structure at the Emirates.

Opportunities at the club may be restricted once again this season, which has reportedly resulted in contract talks falling down in recent weeks, forcing Arsenal to decide whether or not to sell the player, who is in the final year of his present contract.

According to CBS Sports, the Gunners have been keen to tie Nelson down to a new long-term deal but with no breakthrough in talks, could sell him in this transfer window instead of losing him for free in 12 months time.

The report goes on to claim that Palace, Brighton and Brentford would all be interested in signing the highly-rated winger, while Arsenal would want roughly £15-20million for him.
