Arsenal won their third bid after two previous bids of £40 million and £47 million with various add-ons were turned down. White was called up at the last minute to Gareth Southgate’s England team for Euro 2020, but he did not play for the Three Lions in the major event.
Arsenal are in Scotland for a training camp and will return to London following their match against Rangers on Saturday before heading to America for the Florida Cup early next week.
Though White will not be involved, Arsenal hopes to welcome Albert Sambi Lokonga to the club once his arrival from Anderlecht is confirmed.
