A Blow For ManU As Rashford May Not Return To Action Until The End Of October

Marcus Rashford, a Manchester United forward, may not be able to play again until the end of October after being told he needs surgery for a shoulder issue. The 23-year-old was limited by the injury towards the conclusion of the season with the Red Devils, but he played on for England at the European Championship despite the discomfort.

Rashford underwent a scan on Tuesday, and it was determined that the damage was severe enough that he will require surgery. He will have to wait until the end of July to get the surgery because the surgeon will not be available.

He could be out for up to 12 weeks following surgery. Last season, Rashford scored 11 goals in 37 Premier League games for Manchester United, but he struggled to make an impact for England at Euro 2020.

In the competition, he made five appearances before missing a penalty in the shootout as Italy defeated England in a shootout.
