According to The Telegraph, both sets of competing investors vying for a Burnley takeover want Sean Dyche to be retained as manager.
American investment firm ALK Capital and a consortium headed by Mohamed Sayed Zein Elkashashy, an Egyptian entrepreneur, are keen to keep the 49-year-old at Turf Moor.
But if either party finds a position for current chairman Mike Garlick, whose own retention will possibly see Dyche walk away from the club, things may be complicated.
