Posted by The Nigerian Youths Protest which took place recently had gained international recognition as even European footballers are now adding their voices. Widely noted amongst them is Arsenal striker Ian Wright who joined Nigerians in calling for an end to the activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
Earlier this week, the Federal Government promised to reform the police unit, but citizens are demanding more than reorganisation, with a disbanding of SARS the goal of the protesters which most notably youth in general clamoured for. Having condemned the SARS harassment of all kinds, the citizenry hope for a quick action from the government.
