Portugal star Creitiano Ronaldo and his former colleague Sergio Ramos appeared to put their differences aside as the old team-mates caught up in the wake of Spain’s 0-0 draw with Portugal. The old time close friends for nine years at Real Madrid were reported by Marca not have spoken to each other for about 2 years now.
From the report, the issue was reportedly due to Ronaldo’s reaction to Luka Modric winning the Ballon d’Or ahead of him in 2018, but it seems unity has once been restored.
Ramos, the veteran defender shared a snap on his social media of himself with Ronaldo and fellow former Real man Pepe in the dressing room after the stalemate and he wrote: ‘We’re still around… and there’s more to come! Happy to see you, my friends.’
