Man Utd Won’t Pursue Deal For Sarr Despite Still Having Chance To Sign The Watford Star

Posted by

Following the need of United for Sarr, Goal reports that the Red Devils are not expecting any more changes to their squad before the domestic transfer deadline on October 16. Officially, the international transfer deadline, which allowed Premier League sides to do business with each other, ended on Monday but clubs have another 10 days should they want to make signings from the EFL.

For United, there were four deadline-day arrivals at Old Trafford, with Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles, Amad Diallo and Facundo Pellistri all being announced. From the information gathered, one of the primary reasons behind the stance on Sarr is that United have to register their Champions League squad on Tuesday, with anyone arriving after that date not eligible to play in Europe.
