Once the 2019-20 season resumes, The BBC could show their first ever live Premier League game, according to The Times. Should the proposal, which is being discussed among the Premier League’s shareholders, broadcasters and government officials yield positive result, the remaining 92 matches of the season could be shown live on BBC TV.
Out of the 92 games, 47 games have already been allocated for TV coverage and the plan is to give the remaining 45 to the main rights holder Sky, as well as BT Sport, Amazon and BBC.
